Cowboy Funfair Productions, in partnership with Disauthority, are currently in development on a feature script for VILLAIN, to be written and directed by Sparky Tehnsuko, produced by Sej Davé and Maria Shevtsova.
The short film on which VILLAIN is based, starring Bella Ramsey and Isla Gie, has screened and been awarded at dozens of festivals around the world before being picked up for online distribution on the DUST and OMELETO platforms. It is featured below in its entirety.
A fantasy drama set against pre-medieval landscapes, Villain stars Bella Ramsey (The Last of Us, Game of Thrones) as Georgia, a young woman who seeks desperate revenge on the beast that destroyed her home, only to unexpectedly discover an innocent child in the path of her vengeance. Newcomer Isla Gie (The Sandman, The Offenders) stars as Sabra.
